Fishing Report 8/22/2021
This past week we were able to get quite a few productive trips in on the river! The river conditions were great and the bass and pike were hungry! Top water bass fishing in the mornings and evenings has been a stellar time. We were even able to sneak in a short evening trip for us guides!
As most of you in the area know we are getting what is left of hurricane Henri up here in New England. We are constantly watching the river levels during this time, with the expectation that we may have a few days we will not be able to fish the river because of higher water levels. That being said, if you are a beginner fly fisher or looking to practice and fine tune your casting, we offer trips on our local lakes and ponds. Especially for the first timer, a lake trip on one of our rafts gives you a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of fly fishing on some beautiful bodies of water. Add in very hungry bass and panfish, you have a recipe for a very informative and fun day on the water! We will keep everyone updated on the water levels and if you’d like to take a trip on one of the local lakes or ponds in the next few days let us know!
