Fishing Report 4/3/2022
We have had a few cold, rainy days and even saw some snow flurries. Despite some rain, the next weeks forecast looks like we are getting back into normal spring temperatures. We are currently seeing water temperatures in the low 40s, with warmer day temps the fish will be getting more active.
As far as fishing goes, streamers retrieved low and slow is the ticket. We have been seeing numerous stone flies on the surface but have not witnessed any fish actually hitting the surface for them. Stone fly nymphs are working great. Some good news, Massachusetts fish and wildlife has started stocking trout in numerous rivers in the Berkshires!
The rivers are warming and the fish are getting hungry! Contact us to set up a trip this spring as dates are filling up fast for April!
