Massachusetts
Novice, amatuer, and experienced fishermen alike are required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to have a current fishing licenses prior to casting a line, regardless of resident status.
Connecticut
To secure a fishing license in Connecticut, online registrants will need a valid driver’s license or a social security number to register for a Connecticut Conservation ID, which can then be used to add the appropriate resident or non-resident licensure.
Vermont
Vermont offers fairly straightforward licensing for local and out-of-state residents. The state notes, however, that felt-soled Boots and waders are now prohibited.
New York
