Fishing Report 3/14/2022

It looks as though winter may be in the rear view at this point and we here at Berkshire Rivers Fly Fishing couldn’t be happier!   We were lucky enough to get out for a float today with some beautiful March weather and wet a few lines while getting the rowing muscles back into shape.  The fish were hungry, beautiful and lively.    With a heavy focus on streamers we were able to land 3 beautiful fish and missed a few more.

The air and water temperatures are starting to rise and we expect to get some spring thaw runoff but at the moment the river levels are great.   The spring is a great time to chase some of our stellar local brown trout.   We have a few trips booked in March,  April is starting to fill in so get a hold of us to set a date for a float or wade trip!

It was a long and cold winter for all of us and we look forward to getting you out on the water during the 2022 season!
