Fishing Report 5/29/2022

The rain was a good thing yesterday! It has brought the water levels back up and the temperatures back down, therefore extending our trout season. That being said, the bass are approaching post spawn and are hungry. Already we have had some great smallmouth topwater popper action.

There has been some sporadic hatches going on through out the day, but we have had the most luck with streamers and nymphs. For the smallmouth it has been streamers and poppers. If you have never had a day of catching smallmouth on topwater, I highly suggest it! Soon we will be switching over to just smallmouth as the water temps rise on our trout waters.

Get a hold of us if you would like to get out on the water!!
