Fishing Report 9/15/2021

It is really feeling like fall out there, for some of us this is a great thing! Cooler temperatures means we can target trout again. The water levels and temps are primo for chasing some trout on the fly right now. The pike will start feeding heavily as well as the fall progresses. The only thing we will really miss about the summer, aside from topwater smallmouth, is wet wading.

The other big change we will see with fall in the air is the changing of the foliage. If you enjoy leaf peeping or know some one who does, we offer scenic float trips on some beautiful sections of the housatonic river. The fall is a fantastic time to take a lazy river trip on our one of our rafts, where you will most likely have the river to yourself, if you don’t count the wildlife.

During the fall we will usually have some more availability during the week. If you would like to chase some Trout or Northern Pike this fall, or just get out for a scenic float, get a hold of us and book a trip!
