Fishing Report 8/8/2021

Great news, the river has finally come down!! Due to the massive amount of rain we received in July and cooler nights, water temperatures had dropped back down to the mid 60s. With this, we were able to get in some trout fishing with clients. A rare treat this time year for sure. The streamer fishing was on fire and even a few dry fly fish were caught before being safely released.

The water temps are creeping back up again so we are switching back to our regularly scheduled summer program of bass and pike on the fly! In the past few days we were able to do some scouting runs with the rafts to check that the river was clear and free of any obstructions; all clear! Our guides are extremely excited to get you back out on our local rivers again.

The river smallmouth and pike should be very hungry after a few weeks of high water!
