The river is back down to great levels and the trout are biting! Streamers seem to be the ticket the past few days for trout. With some warmer weather projected we may even get some bug hatches!

This is also the time for chasing pike on the fly! Colder evenings are upon us and the pike are feeding. We do have a few open days for pike and trout floats in October but they are filling up fast. The same goes for a scenic float if you’d like to have a beautiful float down the Housatonic while peeping some leaves and the local wildlife!
