Fishing Report 10/17/2021

The leaves are starting to fall and the trout fishing is starting to settle down. It is starting to get colder and days are getting shorter but we are still getting fish! We have mainly been focusing on streamer and nymph fishing the past week. The fish are feisty and healthy! The late afternoon we have seen a few caddis and bwo hatches going on but they are short lived. This is the time of the year to start layering up and dress for the cold mornings and dropping water temps.

Remember this is the time of the year for a chance at a trophy pike on the fly! As it gets colder these fish start feeding in preparation for the long winter. With an average of 500 teeth, these apex predators have ferocious eats! The attack, sometimes right next to the boat, will get your heart pumping. Get a hold of us if you would like to chase these river monsters!
