Fishing Licenses

efore we take you on one of our fly fishing adventures, you will need a fishing license. Each state has its own criteria and fees. Below find details for each of the states in which we fish. REMEMBER: We practice catch-and-release fly fishing.

Massachusetts

Fishing LicensesNovice, amatuer, and experienced fishermen alike are required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to have a current fishing licenses prior to casting a line, regardless of resident status.

Connecticut

To secure a fishing license in Connecticut, online registrants will need a valid driver’s license or a social security number to register for a Connecticut Conservation ID, which can then be used to add the appropriate resident or non-resident licensure.

Vermont

Vermont offers fairly straightforward licensing for local and out-of-state residents. The state notes, however, that felt-soled Boots and waders are now prohibited.

New York

All New York fisherman 16 years of age or older are required to have a valid New York State fishing license. View license details or easily purchase one online using the link below.
