ot a fisherman? You can still enjoy a lazy day on the river. Berkshire Rivers Fly Fishing offers float trips (also called drift trips) to non-fishermen. Enjoy the beauty of the Berkshires landscape from a riverboat viewpoint during any season (perfect for “leaf-peepers” in the colorful autumn). Bring a book, some binoculars or — even better — a camera!
Relax & Enjoy
Floating along one of the Berkshires’ rivers is a wonderful way to enjoy nature. Cruise down the Housatonic, float through the Berkshire Hills. See trout biting, foliage unfolding, perhaps even a bald eagle soaring above.
Non-fishing float trips are by reservation any time of year (winter, spring, summer, or fall) and are $300 for 4-6 hours of peaceful adventure and can accommodate two guests.
